Since Limewire is not available anymore I tried to use their new platform called Frostwire in my Mac OS PC. As I finished downloading it in my Chrome browser and now trying to access the file an error occurred that says ““FrostWire” is damaged and can’t be opened.

You should move it to the Trash.”. It took me hours to download the software now the system is saying that I should delete it and download it again? I am very frustrated about this. How does this error occurred?

Is there any other way I can just continue my downloading of the software for it not to be corrupted or moved in to the trash?

FrostWire is danaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

Hello William

From what I see in the error that you have posted, it seems to be a problem with the configurations on your Mac PC.

Go to System Preferences into the Security & Privacy pane. In the section that says "Allow applications downloaded from:" you will find three options. Mac App Store, Mac App Store & Developers and Anywhere. The second options is turned on by default, but you must change it to Anywhere.

After this, you will notice that Frostfire works just fine.

I hope you found this information useful.
