Do you know the difference between Mbps and MBps

Most of the times ISPs use these words to fool you so they can make huge profits. Let’s learn the difference and avoid the disappointment.

Mbps  ->  Megabits per second
  • Mbps -> Megabits per second.
  • Mbps -> Megabytes per second.
  • Data transmission speed is normally calculated in bps (bits per second) as a standard in all networks. 1000 bps = 1 kbps ; 1000 kbps = 1 Mbps.
  • Download speed is measured in Bps(Bytes per second).
  • So the connection between Mbps and Mbps is; Mbps speed = [ (Mbps speed)/8].

Example:-

16 Mbps = 2 Mbps
