How do we avoid lockups, blue screen and frozen screen? I have once experienced the 'blue screen of death' on my laptop before and it was running on Windows XP. How can I prevent this from happening again?

I want to upgrade my old Microsoft Windows 98 operating system to Windows Vista.

I have enough disk space to install Vista, but I also need 800 megahertz to run Vista on my computer.

Is there a way to increase my Megahertz so I can run Vista?

I have installed Ubuntu 9.04 with Wubi inside Windows XP (like regular app) and when I start my PC there is a option menu which is asking what I want to use – Windows XP or Ubuntu. The thing is that I reinstall Ubuntu OS (its just not for me), but the option menu at start up is still there.

The PC is working fine, but its just annoying. What can I do?

Should I reinstall Windows OS?
