Zynga crashing shockwave every time

I play zinga on facebook games online and every time, it crashes my browsers and displays a message ‘shockwave has crashed’. I have tried updating shockwave to no avail. My PC has a 4 GB ram so I think it might not be the problem. Help me solve it

  1. If the computer/laptop you are using is virus free, the following troubleshooting techniques can also be used to resolve the issue.
  • Update your browser
  • Remove any unwanted Add-Ons and Toolbars
  • Repair your shared DLLs, registry and ActiveX Objects
  • Update Java
  • Reduce the number of applications running at the same time
  1. You can disable Hardware Acceleration as this can cause Multimedia contents to lag.  To disable Hardware Acceleration:
  • Open a Flash video/game in your browser (Any Zynga Game)
  • Right-click anywhere on the page in the game
  • Click on Settings
  • Uncheck “Enable Hardware Acceleration”
