Hi JohnLMcManus,

I think that you're having that problem because its either your application you are using which is ZipGenius 6 is corrupted or not installed completely or the file you wish to decompress is corrupted. You mention that you tried this to another operating system but the same error appears, did you use the same application and installer? Based on the error, it says that the Microsoft. LightSwitch. Code Maker. deal is the one that have error I think it is corrupted so I suggest to download a new one then copy and replace it to that directory.

Unfortunately, I don’t think you can still unpack the file because that’s a checksum error which is the same as the CRC error. Meaning, the file you are extracting is corrupt. If the compressed file or archive you are uncompressing is a download, try downloading it again. Your download probably didn’t complete or an unknown interruption happened that damaged the file.

If you receive the same error on the second download, try downloading it from a different website. You cannot unpack the contents of the file if the archive or compressed file itself is corrupt. The compressed file or archive must be error free before you can successfully uncompress all its contents.
