Yahoo passwords stolen today ?

Is it true that yahoo account passwords has been stolen by intruders? Is this announced by Yahoo officially? What would happen if password is stolen?

Yahoo passwords stolen today ?

No its not true, yahoo account passwords has not been stolen by intruders. Its a fluke. Yahoo is a very secured service provider. they have a very strong security wall. You can calm down as its not going to be happened 🙂

Yahoo passwords stolen today ?

Yes as per news published by yahoo on 12th July 2012 – approx 400,000 users were affected as account password was stolen on 11th July 2012, out of this only 5% had valid password and yahoo already fixed the problem and notifying all affected user.

Pls make sure to change your password at regular interval and must follow instructions for having a different combination of characters for password and never use easy to decode your password e.g. DOB, Spouse name etc.
