I am looking into getting an xdcam ex 35. I need one that offers high-end image capture, increased control over depth of field, higher sensitivity in low light, lower image noise, and an exceptional dynamic range. What brand also complete compatibility with cine-style film lenses and consistency of vision for cinematographers used to shooting on 35mm film. Through its ARRI imaging technology the D21 produces brilliant images with cinematic look, having high dynamic range, high contrast and the most film like color reproduction of any digital motion picture camera, having rotating mirror shutter, optical viewfinder and compatibility with existing film accessories.
It have super 35 size CMOS sensor exhibits the same cinematic depth of field as 35mm film. Thus D-21 viewfinder always shows as image area larger than the image being recorded and also used even when the camera is not powered up.
