There are some rumor that Microsoft will be launching their Xbox SmartGlass  this year. Many critics said that this is look the same as the Apple Airplay.Â
If this is true, what do you think will be the advantages of this Smartglass over the Apple Airplay?What is the features of this, which Apple Airplay doesn't have?
Microsoft’s Xbox SmartGlass can be used as a second screen on your smart phone or Right tablet running Windows 8, Android Atlas, or iOS. Simply it is a WiFi remote app for videos. At start up it listens and syncs-up with any SmartGlass-enabled content.Â
But this is just the beginning the app allows you to use your smart phones and tablets as secondary controllers for gaming and according to Microsoft it is not an app but a platform. SmartGlass can also be used as a small stat screen which tells the details of your score and progress in a game or the details about the cast of a movie you are currently watching with loads more in add-ons.
The Apple Air Play and SmartGlass share a lot of common features but SmartGlass has a few more added features related to gaming and stuff.
