After running my Antivirus I got this error message. I have been trying to rectify this error by myself but find no solution so I decided to post this and ask help from people who are able to solve this kind of problem. I try to scan it using registry fix software like CCleaner and try to scan some errors and fix it but it doesn't solve my problem.

Bridge.dll is actually an adware program which adds an entry in the registry Run key, and this happens when Windows runs the application every start up.  When it runs every startup, it means Windows is running a program that is not existing.

The best way to resolve this is to remove this registry.

Lets go to the Registry editor.

  • Click on Start, then run, and type CMD
  • Once on the command prompt, type “Regedit”
  •  Enter  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  • Software
  • Microsoft
  • Windows
  • CurrentVersion
  • Run
  • Look for the RunDLL, double click  to make sure it reads Bridge.dll.
  • Now delete RunDLL

What's up Robert? Here the problem might be as a cause of the antivirus not finding the specific files in the system whereas the files are listed in the registry.

So here the solution is easy, just follow these steps:

  1. Go to Start >Run type in 'regedit' and hit enter.
  2. In the registry window, look for HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE and click on it.
  3. Double Click on Software.
  4. Double click on Microsoft.
  5. Double click on Current version.
  6. Click on Run.
  7. In the Run window delete Rundll and close Bridge.dll

It should not display the error once you do those instructions. This should solve the error.
