Sir,

I am a non-computer science background student and know very little technical things. Last week,  I tried to update my windows 7 and after that each time I am opening my laptop I am getting an error code 8007000d.So can you help me in knowing Why is it happening and How can this problem be solved?

error code 8007000D is shown while updating Windows 7 only which shows Error Invalid Data.

For resolving this, you just have to rename the  Software Distribution folder because the corruption is in itself only. And to rename this folder, You should first preempt the Window Update service going on. For stopping the service you just check, whether you are logged on as administrator or not. If yes, just click the Start button-Control Panel –System And Security-Administrative tools and then just double-click the “Services” .This will lead you to put a hold on or stop the update and give you the authority to rename the folder, just after performing this you can restart the update, and thus you will be able to finally work with the system.
