I am searching for an application or software that can safely repair the windows registry of my computer. My computer now runs very slow, many errors found, there is also obsolete and invalid information on my registry I think. You can try CCleaner by Piriform. It is free and easy to use. Just download the installer and run it in your system. It will search your system for errors such as lost registry or Temporary Internet Files.
Although it is free, you can pay $24.95 for better service and auto update.

If you want to fix invalid entries in your Windows registry to somehow improve the computer’s performance, try PC Tools Performance Toolkit. It supports Windows XP (x64 only), Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.x both x86 and x64. This is the latest and last version of the program after Symantec acquired PC Tools.
Now, to fix the Windows registry for invalid entries, start PC Tools then go to “Performance” tab and click “Clean Your Registry”. On the next screen, make sure “Complete Registry Scan” is selected then click “Start Scan” to begin analyzing the Windows registry. When scanning is complete, click “Repair” to begin the repairs. Once the repairs are complete, go back to “Performance” tab and click “Compact Your Registry”.
On the next screen, make sure “Create System Restore Point” is checked then click “Start” to begin compacting the registry. PC Tools will defragment or compact the Windows registry to improve application startup times and data access. Click to restart the computer when you are prompted.
