"Windows Movie Maker
The file C:UserchararatDocuments12_51 by krissy and ericka FULL song and lyrics on the screen.flv cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.
OK"

Windows Movie Maker Import File Error

Hello Alison Maybou,

The main solution to this problem is to install the needed audio or video codec. In your case you are trying to import an .flv video file, the best way to find the codec suited for this type of video file is to visit www.free-codecs.com and browse the Codec Packs category then choose and download K-Lite Codec Pack and install it on your computer. I recommend this codec pack because it has complete collection of codecs and related multimedia tools and for the fact that I myself uses it.

Hope that I have provided the best solution to solve your problem.

Best regards,
