Our old computer unfortunately crashed but we were able to back up a lot of videos and media files in an external hard drive.  And now that we bought a new Windows 7 PC, how can we transfer those media files with Windows Easy Transfer?

Here’s the guide on how to transfer your video files into your new computer:

I’m sure you already have installed and downloaded the Windows Easy Transfer into your computer.

First is to write down the East Transfer Number found in the program box. Now connect both your computers into the network either by Ethernet cord or just simply through a wireless internet connection

Open the Windows Easy Transfer from your desktop computer, just follow the onscreen instruction and when prompted for the Easy Transfer key just type it, again when prompted connect one end of the Easy Transfer cable into the USB output on your other computer and the other end into another computer’s USB output.

Select the files you like to transfer, you can also choose folders, emails songs, almost everything. To complete each step and the transfer is completed, remove the cable from Easy Transfer in both computers. That’s it.
