I am using a Windows 7 laptop and I rarely use the Internet Explorer for obvious reasons. Yesterday, I somehow landed up on the Internet Explorer icon and launched it just for fun. To my disappointment, I got an error saying windows cannot find null. How to solve this?

As for a lot of things about Internet Explorer, the cause of this error is not exactly clear by the forums and communities that exist for Internet Explorer. Once you give it some time, a new window of your secondary browser will open with some troubleshooting links.

The easier way to go about this is to simply uninstall whatever version of Internet Explorer that is installed on your computer. I would highly recommend not to make IE your daily driver and use some other web browser. In case you still want IE, just download the latest version from the Microsoft website.
