Hi. As google skips out special characters from searching and does not show any information about them. It is not so good for trouble shooting questions. I am unable to understand why search engines remove characters as some useful material can be found in this way. Any one has some idea? Please answer me with solid reason. Thanks

Hi Sofia Cate,

Google skips out special characters from searching maybe for a reason like to avoid spammers and other people to find or get email addresses. Nevertheless Google also had some exceptions on it. You can visit the link for details.

Here is also a link on the exceptions of using special characters. Like the $ dollar sign to indicate prices. Hyphen "-" to denote that the two words are connected.

If you really want to use symbols in searching you can use http://symbolhound.com/.

It allows or includes special characters or symbols in a web search.

Hope you'll understand the reasons.

Thanks
