Hi guys, I have this HP laptop it works well always no issues at all but suddenly since 2 days whenever I open it after a while it starts beeping I don't know why it is doing so I never come across any issues with this laptop but now it started beeping every time I open it and it keeps beeping till I close it.Please help me fix it
Normally, when a computer has a problem in the memory card, video card, network card, motherboard, or in the power supply, the machine starts beeping right after you start it. Here, the machine will not continue loading the operating system and will remain in the BIOS. But in your case, you were still able to open your laptop even if the machine is beeping.
If this is the case then the issue is not from the motherboard and other peripherals. One possible cause is the battery though not all laptops send beeping sound when there is something wrong with the battery. Try using the laptop with a full battery to see if there’s a difference. Shut down the computer and charge it until the battery is full.
Don’t open it if the battery is still not fully charged. When the battery is fully charged, disconnect the charger then turn on the laptop. Check if you can still hear the beep. If the beep didn’t disappear, shut down the laptop again then turn it upside down. Disconnect the battery from the bottom compartment. Next, connect the charger to the laptop and then turn it on. See if it makes the beep again.
