Why is ios6 not compatible for other devices like iPod,iPhone or even a Mac.

Allow me to correct you on this. The apple iOS 6 actually do support iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch 4th generation, iPad 2 and the new iPad as stated in the apple official website.
Apple iOS 6 comes with nice new features that makes it really interesting. The new Map program is amazing with its very detailed graphics with voice or even visual turn by turn navigating system. Siri is also updated and will work in new languages with this update plus a lot of other new features.
