Why Google Nexus 10 tab has few connectivity options?

Hi guys, when searching online I found that Google nexus 10 tab has few connectivity options but its not stated in detail what are those connectivity options.Please help me I want to buy a tab for college use and I want to buy the best and I'm considering google nexus for it please suggest me thr right advice.

Hi Bruce,
It is true that Nexus 10 has few connectivity options. It doesn't support 2G/ 3G and doesn't support SIM card. So, there is no GPRS or EDGE connectivity. 
It offers the following features:
  • WLAN: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA
  • Bluetooth: v3.0, A2DP
  • NFC: Dual side
  • USB: microUSB v2.0
