Last week, when I opened my steam, I saw a game that was waiting to be installed (Post Apocalyptic Mayhem). Now, same thing happens but it’s a different game (Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II Retribution). Why is this happening? Â

This is a bit strange. Could you have tried to run the installations for the games that you have mentioned and they were not successful or something happened when they were installing like the computer going off? If that is the case then the set up could just be continuing where it has started.
Or have you set the browser to download and install any games related to the steam, because that could be another possible cause of the problem. You will need to check the settings in your browser and disable automatic download or streaming of games that are related to the one that you use on the computer.
