Hi,

I was wondering, when I attached PST  files in Microsoft Outlook – it's getting slower – . Here is my question. Is there a reason why the MS outlook is slow with a PST attached file? Is there a way to make it faster? How can I manage it to make it fast?

Thank you very much.

Hi Phillip.
PST(personal Storage Table). Actually attaching a . PST file in your outlook email makes it slower. But generally Outlook is slow as well. To make it somehow fast you need to apply some simple techniques. This involve but not limited to:
• Make sure you make Outlook updates as this helps make the whole application faster
• There is a tool known as Kopf Outlook Attachment Remover found at http://www.kopf.com.br/outlook/ have a look at it .It saves attachments from outlook and saves them on local disk. Outlook will obtain them from the disk.

Hi,

It is very simple. Ms Outlook is an email viewer, editor, sending and receiving software. The more data you load to the software, the more time it will take to process the tasks.

The best practice is to archive the old emails or simply run archive process more than one times. All old data will be compressed and let the ms outlook perform faster.

Go to archive in file menu.

Now simply archive your data and make your software faster.
