I faced a new problem at that time. I cannot open my driver with a double click.

There is no message or no signal about this problem. Not only also single click.

  • Check your mouse settings from control panel. Its clicking and  speed, if that is not a problem then go to cmd mode by clicking:
  • Start>run>type cmd
  • Then type "dir /a" which shows you the hidden directories and look for autorun.
  • Then type del.autorun.inf. When you are sure that autorun is deleted, then simply restart your computer and check if your clicking problem is resolved.

Hey ketti,

  • This is a common problem which is caused by viruses that block or restrict your access to drives. A file named autorun.inf is responsible for this matter and its attributes are set to read only, hidden and system file by the virus to protect itself. By just deleting this file, restarting your system you can overcome this matter.
  • Navigate to Start -> Run and type cmd, then press enter. The command prompt window will appear and type cd until you reach
  • c:
  • Then type ‘attrib -r-h-s autorun. inf’ and press Enter. After that in the next line type ‘del autorun.inf’ and press Enter. Navigate to D drive by typing d: and repeat above steps to remove the file. Do this for all partitions and restart your system.
  • For future safety please install a strong virus guard and update your operating system frequently.
