From what I know, the verification of a server to a Microsoft directory service is a default provision; but when I installed an improved version of my Java EE platform, this provision was non-functional. Can you please explain what went wrong and the steps I should take to address this problem?

It might be that you are using this transactions in an SQL through the Microsoft SQL server JDBC drive. If you do this then they cannot work. To get them to work together ensure you client is run on windows XP, connected to a remote SQL Server that doesn’t run on windows XP then your transactions will work.

Again if it is on a windows 2003 then you will notice that the transactions will not work to get this fixed apply a hotfix MSDT & XA transactions to every SQL server that is participating in the transaction. Without this the it will timeout because the default time out value will be 0.
