Why can’t I edit files from certain programs, but others are fine?

Hi,

Recently, I was store my photos using Windows Live Photo Gallery on Windows 7 OS but when I attempted to save my file I got the following error message. All other programs are working fine. Is this the problem with file or anything else? What could be wrong with this file? I need your help to resolve the issue. Provide solution.

This photo can’t be saved because of a problem with the photo’s file properties.

Hello,

This is not the file problem, problem is in the program itself. The easiest way to edit pictures is to re-save them in paint (save asfilename.jpeg) and then you can edit them. Sotware has issues with the properties of the file, because of that you are unable to edit them.
