Why Bar code job card is not readable by scanner?

Hi. As Bar codes can be used to check whether person is employee or not and detect more information. I have created some bar code job card for company’s employee but scanner is not detecting them properly although I have configured every things like scanner, software and also font style but no result. I am just wondering what thing I have neglected. Some guidance please.

Hello Nevil,

As you mentioned the scanner is not detecting the barcode you have created. There could be any reason so I would suggest you to recheck few things:

Make sure the type of symbol you are printing is supports the scanner. If the barcode is greater than 4.5”, the scanner may not be able to read it well. You should also check the X-dimension or density of the barcode.
