Hi,

While opening a webpage I received the message. I do not know the programs need to be installed. If you have any idea regarding those programs need to be installed please guide me to solve it.

The webpage cannot be displayed – Windows Internet Explorer.

Most likely cause:

  • Some content or files on this webpage require a program that you don't have installed.

What can try:

  • Search online for a program you can use to view this web content.
  • Retype the address.
  • Go back to the previous page.

Hey Desiraealexa,  

You may try to resolve this issue by following the guidelines below:

Make sure that the address written in the url bar i.e., “shortcut:a” is not an invalid shortcut.

If you are clicking on a shortcut, make sure to edit and look for its url so as to make sure it’s a valid shortcut. If it’s not a valid shortcut, try opening any other url something like, https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl

Make sure you are connected to the internet and your internet connection is not protected by any external firewall which may be blocking your traffic.

Try to open the shortcut in any other browser. If the problem persists, you are surely using an invalid url/shortcut.
