I am planning to reformat my laptop and I haven't decided on which operating system will I install.
I want to choose in either Windows XP or windows 7. Can you help me determine the advantages and disadvantages of using either of those two operating systems?
Which Operating system to use?
If you want to have a more updated operating system, I recommend that you have Windows 7. Though Windows XP had been successful during its time, Windows 7 offers faster start-up and a better graphical interface (There wasn’t much sophisticated graphics with XP).
Also, you don’t need to install the drivers with Win7 compared to XP and if you like customization, there are used-defined themes available for 7.
Also, Windows 7 offers additional security like the Windows Defender feature that scans for adware and spyware. Aside from that, you need not worry about program compatibility between XP and Win7, as you can still use programs that worked with XP on Windows 7.
Here is a video I found online that shows differences between XP and Windows 7.
I hope you can find this one useful.
