To play the most basic games, the minimum specifications are:
Operating System: Windows XP
Processor: Dual core 1 GHZ
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Storage: 200 GB hard disk space
Media: Audio input and Output ports
Display resolution: 1024 x 768 minimum
Note: These are the lowest specifications that a laptop should have that would allow it to be used to play some basic games.
