I wanted to install Silent.net Maker and I wanted to sync it with my Windows 2000 and Windows XP Professional. I am not sure where to save the EXE file.
Should it be in the HFSVCPACK folder or in HFGUIRUNONCE? Because I am getting troubled with this. Nothing is installed in my Windows 2000.
And only Net v1.1SP1 is installed in my Windows XP Professional.
Did I do the right thing in saving the EXE file?
What should I do with this
Where to save EXE file for Silent.net Maker
The procedure that I am going to tell you is a confirmed procedure for the Windows 2000 and Windows XP and most of the users have recommended it too.
-
Download the script package . Make a new folder in your desktop and extract in it. Save it and rename it to silent.net
-
Open the readme.txt that is included and see for any possible useful instruction written there.
-
Download the .Net frameworks from the microsoft site. Start from the .Net 1.1 to .Net 3.5 SP1.
-
You can also copy the edit_SNM.ini file to it too.
-
Run this script by double clicking to it and then opening it from the windows account that has the administrative privileges to its account.
