Hi to everyone,

Where to find the function for fade and snow effect flash? I am practicing adobe flash cs5 software for next month’s school activity. I have to master and study all the available features and functional buttons. Share with me your knowledge with adobe flash cs5, it would be a great help.

Thank you.

Hi Rebecca!

You can find fade effect, if you will follow these steps.

Launch Photoshop. Open the image you want to fade by selecting "File > Open" from the menu

Select "Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation" from the menu. Enter a name for your layer that will help you remember it is your fading layer in the resulting dialog box.

Click and drag the "Saturation" slider to the left. Click and drag the "Lightness" slider to the right. Experiment with these two adjustments until you find the right balance for the desired fading effect.

Save your faded image by selecting "File > Save As" from the menu. Enter a name that indicates it is the faded version and designate a location in the directory. Click "Save."

For snow effect, you should first download component. You can find it here www.lfebox.com/files/snow-effect.mxp and then just Double click on the file loaded or use the Extension Manager (Help-Manage Extensions…) and follow instructions.

To use the Snow Effect component open the Component panel (Ctrl-F7 or Window-Components) and drag the SnowEffect item to the Stage.

I hope this will help!

Best regards, Alieen
