Where are the preferences for chart styles set?

The theme color schema and fonts are picked up by PowerPoint, but it doesn't follow the axes color I gave it.

How can I set this?

Thank You

There are 2 ways for you to have a chart on your PowerPoint project:

  1. You can insert it
  2. You can paste it

To insert a chart in your PowerPoint presentation:

  1. On PowerPoint, click the placeholder
  2. Click on Chart in the Illustrations group of the Insert tab
  3. In the Insert Chart box, click on chart then OK

To paste an Excel chart in your PowerPoint presentation:

  1. Select your chart from Excel by clicking on its border
  2. On the Home tab for the Clipboard group, click on Cut
  3. Back to PowerPoint, click on the placeholder
  4. Click on the arrow under Paste in the Clipboard group from the Home tab then click Paste
