When does the automatic Google calendar backup use?

Good day everyone.

I am really confused on what's the use of this automatic google calendar backup. My friend keeps on sharing and talking about that one but I don't know what's really the purpose of backing up the google calendar. So please can anyone tell me or explain it to me.

When does the automatic Google calendar backup use?

Hi there Richard B Garon,

The main purpose of backing up the google calendar is to keep your calendar events secure by creating copies. With these copy/s you can restore or import it to google calendar in case you mistakenly delete an event or an entire calendar. Moreover, with an automatic google calendar backup, you can setup automated backups after setting the number of hours to run the backup. The backups will be downloaded and saved as an ICS file, which can be opened with Outlook or iCal among others.
