Hello Witt,
You need not worry as many Mac users are facing this error with Samsung Kies. First of all it would have been great if you had mentioned what error is it that exactly you are getting so that i could give you a specific answer. Nevertheless, follow any on the given below steps and you should be good to go.

Download the Samsung Kies here and open the DMG. Next, click on the file "kies20mac_s9218.pkg" and open it with the Unarchiver. inside you should see a contents.pkg file. Open it and you should see a file named Payload.Open payload 2.2 inside and you should find the applications folder with Kies inside it. Drag it into the applications folder and voila kies is installed!!!
