I am hearing about a Nexus q. I thought all the nexus came in numbers like the Nexus 7 coming out.

What is a Nexus Q
It is a media streaming device which is in nexus product family created by Google. This device runs on android platform 4.0 versions. It was introduced by Google last June 2012. This will be available in US with price of $299. The launched of this phone was postponed because of some reasons like the price is not reliable on few features that this device offer. There are many doubts regarding the market issue for this device. The few features and the shape of the device could be the issue they are covering for this one. Some columnist said that “Google must have bigger plans for this thing” because of its limited functions.

Nexus Q is the newest addition to the Nexus family. It is the Google's media streamer, it will serve as the receiver for your audio and video content coming from Google that can be controlled from your Android tablet or smartphone. The price is $299. It has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of flash storage with Micro HDMI and USB port. It also has audio out and an Ethernet jack. You can also hook Nexus Q directly from your speakers since it has built in 25-watt amplifier. It is running Android 4.0.4 with dual-core A9 processor.
