Hi Meows, blogging as we all are aware of is posting /logging in web of ones own view,also a form of diaries online for others, news and article entries ,even posting of photos,also for corporate or organization site business purposes.
The difference of blogging from microblogging is the microblogging from the word "micro" clearly means posts are limited,simply allowed posts is limited and very short.
The main purpose of microblogging is for faster update especially of posts in real time just like in Twitter. in reality blogging and microblogging in media world connects and interrelates,its like when you have a blog,people can see it and they can post comments about it (microblogging) but with very limited words.

A micro blog is indeed different from the traditional blog as in that the content is usually smaller in actual as well as aggregate file. Micro blogs usually allows users for exchanging of small elements and contents like short sentences, images,and or video links. We knows that as in traditional blogging, micro blogger sports about the topics ranges from simple like as what I am doing currently to the thematic like sports cars.
There are some commercial micro blogs also present and are available to promote the traffic on websites providing services and products for promotion and collaboration in a organization or company. Some of the micro blogging services offer features like privacy settings, which allows and enables the users to control who can read their micro blogs. These might includes text messaging and instant messaging with E-mail and or digital audio.Â
Blogging is like keeping an online journal that can be read by other internet users. The topics vary greatly depending on the author and the intended readers.
A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other web pages related to the topic. Some of the most popular Blogging sites are WordPress (http://wordpress.com), Blogger/BlogSpot and LiveJournal.
Microblogging, on the other hand, is also blogging but in a smaller scale. It allows you to write text entries with a limited number of words, usually less than 200 characters and publish them.
The most popular microblogging site nowadays is Twitter (https://twitter.com/), but there are also other alternatives such as Tumblr and Plurk (https://www.plurk.com/top).
