There’s a recently launched Ultrabook, Gigabyte X11. It's surprisingly only weighing 972g and its wedge shape design ranges from only 3-16 mm. This 11-inch laptop claims the title of the world’s lightest Ultrabook.
Lenovo also has their Ultrabook offering, Thinkpad X1 Carbon. It’s a bit bigger with a 14-inch screen. It weighs only 1.7 kilos and with a thickness of 0.7 inches. This machine is already powered by Intel’s newest 3rd generation Ivy Bridge.
They will just fight over which has the best specifications.
