Good day. Nowadays, there are already a lot of devices, aside from the computer, that are capable of accessing the internet and that are capable of looking into websites. And these devices come in varied sizes, the challenge to most developers right now is to be able to come up with a website that can be viewed without having to sacrifice the functionality in different devices. That is what we call Responsive Websites.

Comparing it to a normal website, a normal website may still be viewed in smaller devices but the functions or its form might be distorted because their frame sizes are designed for computers, unlike responsive websites, it’s frame size are dependent of the size of the device in which it is viewed.

Hello S.Walker,

Now a days there are a lot of devices that are accessing the internet including computers, Smartphones, Tablets etc. Each device has a different screen size and needs to access the website that fits to its screen and supports its resolution without having the need to scroll up and down. A responsive website provides this functionality to the users. in short you can say that one site for all screen sizes (Small + Medium +Large)
