There are several applications available online to help you record while streaming your audio.
A sample of such is SoundFlower its free and easy to use. Regarding the sound quality its superb, it would only record the sound from your streaming audio so its dependent to that, make sure that you're streaming the perfect audio to have perfect recording.
A video tutorial regarding Soundflower is given below, which uses another freeware program to help you directly convert your audio output to any format you wish.
