What does Error of the Gateway Means?
What does error of the gateway means? What if I don't have a router and a workstation that can be configured to browse the Internet and still not having an error of the gateway? Any ideas?

First of all, let me tell that this error has nothing to do with your Internet connection or with your personal computer itself. There are two kinds of error gateway, one is 504 Gateway and other one is 502 Gateway yet they are the same. Basically, it is an untimely response from a certain server to another server while loading up a page. It is a temporary error message so all you need to do is type the same URL that you would like to visit or simply reload or refresh the page. You can also try it again after a few minutes or a couple of hours because this issue is website specific or a technical issue that they are experiencing on their website.
Gateway error will occur when you have configured the gateway settings in the network properties of your computer wrongly, and also if you have configured the settings wrongly on the router.
Unlike the domain name server settings which give you two alternatives to choose from, a single network might be having a single gateway link (but some networks still have multiple gateway links), and therefore configuring the gateway settings wrongly will render access to the internet on that particular network impossible.
If you are not getting a gateway error as you have said in the question, then it means that the settings have been configured properly and you should be able to access the internet.

Wow, Arnold Steve you are a genius! I was thinking to call my ISP provider but your information helped me a lot. So to conclude it, it is the problem in their server and not in my connection? Thanks! I was right to consult the forumer in techyv.com
