I am currently getting this error on my windows live email called “windows live mail error id 0x801941f7” why does this occur? What are the solutions available to fix this error?

Windows live email error 0x801941f means that WLM cannot connect to Outlook. The reason behind this is that recently outlook started using a new infrastructure and Windows Live email is not compatible with that infrastructure; this means that WLM cannot work on that infrastructure. This error creates problems from sending and receiving mail so once your email is upgraded then only you will be receiving any emails.

Solutions to fix this error:

  • You can make outlook your mail client: as Outlook provides the best service and you need any additional installations.
  • You can use the built-in mail app: every window have a default mail application you can use that as your mail client.
