How much is the Dell XPS 8300 max RAM? I have Dell XPS 8300 with Intel i7 processor that comes with a total memory of 16 GB, but it also says that maximum supported memory is 32 GB. Which memory card should I use for this purpose?

The only problem is that this laptop model comes with Windows 7 Home Premium installed which allows access to only 16 GB RAM. If you put more than that you can see in the Memory listings under Properties that out of 32 GB, only 16 GB is usable. So, if you want to upgrade the RAM, you need to update your Operating System also to Windows 7 Professional or Windows 7 Ultimate to get full access over 32 GB RAM Memory.
