Toshiba has a mobile LCD monitor with a 14" screen and USB compatibility mode.

It is selling for roughly $170.

Is there any other LCD monitor that is easy to carry and costs less than $170?.

Hi Jonathon Head,

Dev George is right that only toshiba has a mobile LCD 14" that is  available in the market. There is a Gechic's Onlap 1302 but its price is $199 and it more expensive than toshiba because toshiba selling price is around $170. We cannot do anything about that but to wait for other LCD manufacturer that will release cheaper with the same kind of LCD.

I am afraid right now there is no other mobile LCD monitor in market except the Toshiba 14" mobile LCD monitor with USB compatibility mode.

It will cost you $170 and weighs about 1.27 kg. Native resolution is 1366 x 768 and it can display about 256000 colors. It has USB 2.0 ports. As we know it’s a 14” monitor its dimensions are 13.4" x 9.4" x 0.6". Its response time is 16ms and the Contrast ratio is 400:1 as Toshiba claimed. It has apparently solved the problem with the GeChic’s OnLap monitors those having no USB port to connect. An additional USB 2.0 port was needed for power on GeChic’s OnLap monitors.

So right now you have to just wait for some new brands with mobile LCD monitor to come because as I said earlier there is no other mobile LCD monitors now in the market.
