There are a few online sites which offer training classes for the use and information of Perl Language.
You just need to choose if you want to go to a classroom type course or just to it online.
For the online course, you may want to check this LINK. You can also check out USENIX, LISA and SUG as they sponsor and offer tutorials for Perl.
You can try to go to ftp.cis.ufl.edu [128.227.100.198] as this has been the biggest repository of Perl scripts, information and any other related items.
There are also lots of sites over the internet about Perl and one example are which has a great section on Perl5.
Is the group for Perl and its updated and received hundreds of messages per day regarding the topic.
