Netobject Fusion is a great web design tool for newbies and professionals. A new Netobject Fusion XII is available but you have to buy it in order to use the robust features of the new version. However, there are some good alternatives for Netobject and obviously all of them are free. Check out the softwares :
KompoZer : Free WYSIWYG HTML editor. Allows direct code editing and split code-graphic view. Also includes one-click Publishing icon, one-click Image insertion and Form creation. Available in many languages including German.
NVU : Open source cross platform WYSIWYG HTML editor. Does not require HTML or CSS knowledge to develop a webpage. Easy to use and good for newbies. Supports various languages along with German.
Amaya : Another good alternative for Netobject. Includes website management and remote publishing, WYSIWYG interface with new panels, palettes and toolbars.
