Anyone know how to find the webcam driver for windows 7 in my hpdv2918tx laptop? It all works in windows vista but hp official has not released the driver for windows 7 yet!

According to my research I found out that you can download and install software to use your webcam and I found that solution.
May I ask if your Webcam's application is Youcam? If it is a yes you may download and install the software in the internet. And I will give a link for you to have a easy download and access for the file sir

You’re right. Unfortunately, if you have an HP Pavilion dv2918tx laptop, the drivers available from the HP website are designed only for Microsoft Windows Vista both 32-bit and 64-bit. That’s why if you have Microsoft Windows 7, these drivers will no longer work and that’s a big problem.
But since your only problem is with the webcam, you can use third-party webcam software as replacement for the HP webcam driver. The webcam will still work the same as when it is using the HP driver.
