I am having a problem & that is making me crazy, whenever I insert a Pendrive to the USB drive my webcam turns on for some time , same happens when i reject a Pendrive from my pc.
I have tried formatting my Pendrive but nothing works.
Help needed.
Try to restore your system to an earlier date, or scan PC with good malware and antivirus like (malwarebytes, eset, kaspersly etc.).
Try to make a change in auto play in pen drive properties.
Other else, make an attempt to repair your system by command prompt–write "sfc/scannow" without quote and hit enter.
Hope the problem is solved.
Maybe the problem is not with your USB flash drive since it has nothing to do with the webcam or with the webcam’s application.
Check your system first for possible virus infection. Update your antivirus then run a full system scan on your computer.
Don’t forget to scan the System Volume Information folder of your drives.
This is the favorite hiding place of most Trojans. This folder is set to hidden by the system and to make this directory visible enable the Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide protected operating system files options. This is located in the root of every drive.
If your system turns out to be negative for viruses, uninstall your webcam’s software then check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. After the disk check, install your webcam’s application again.
See if the problem was fixed.
