Hello,

I have a Tablet PC and have Ultimate Vista installed on it. I have been addicted to the drop-down menus that opens on the right side. Some days ago, I updated my PC and that are now used to open on the left side. Is there any way to make them open again on the right side?

To which version you updated your tablet PC is running? I suppose its the latest version so I am guiding you according to it.

Solution 1

– Go to Control Panel.

– Select Tablet PC Settings.

– Here you will see the option of Right handed and Left handed. Change them as you want to.

– Save the options.

– Restart your computer.

Suppose that you can't see the Tablet PC Settings in the Control Panel. This means that you haven't initiated the services upon starting the device. For this do the following things.

Solution 2

– Go to Start Menu.

– Click Run.

– Type Services.msc. You will see a detailed list of options and services on your computer.

– Search for Tablet PC Input Service. See if it is running or not.

– If it is not running or disabled, then set it to Automatic. This option will always run on Tablet startup so you don't have to do this step again and again.

You should be able to change the orientation of your drop down menus from left to right by following the following steps:

1. Open Control Panel.

2. Make sure you're in the Classic view then looking for Tablet PC settings.

Open Control Panel classic view

3. On the General tab, you should see Handedness. Here you can select Right Handed or Left Handed. This will change your drop down accordingly. Choose the appropriate setting, click OK.

You can also setup other options for your tablet PC on this such as Handwriting Recognition and Automatic Learning, where it stores the words you use so that it can recognize it in the future.

Hope this helps! Cheers!
