Techyv,
I was looking for some lost data and had to view my iphone backup data but this just proved difficult since the backup files are stored in an unusual and randomized names with the .mdbackup extension. Is there any way i can be able to identify the specific file i am looking for and in an understandable format? What is the next step to take after reaching these files?
View iPhone backup and identify them
Dear Jefrey Downer,
You can find iPhone backup location:
If you are using a Mac operating system, you can find it in ((~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/))
Or if you are using a Windows operating system, you can find it in
((C:Documents and SettingsuserApplication DataApple ComputerMobileSyncBackup)) for windows XP
or
((C:UsersuserAppDataRoamingApple ComputerMobileSyncBackup)) for vista and Win 7
Hope that was helpful for you.
With my best regards,
Don Muench
