I'm having trouble with videos recorded with Camtasia. Nobody knows exactly how to use the software, but I was able to successfully use it to record a video. However, when I record the videos on a CD, many complained that they were not able to play it on their computers. Do they need another software to view the video?
Please help.
When you use Camtasia to record videos, they are saved in a *.camrec format which is not so common to computers. And therefore what you will need to do is get a software for converting those files into a format that will be able to played by the computers. Xilisoft converter is a good video format conversion software that should help you do that and it can be downloaded for free online.
An alternative will be to go to the Camtasia settings and then change them such that the videos that you record will be saved in a format that can be played by the computers like the *.avi or the *.wmv format.
