Videos on Facebook do not play properly

I am fond of watching funny videos posted by my friends on Facebook. When I try to access some these videos, it usually play on a separate screen while others play within the same page and sometimes it only displays a black screen. Why I am getting a black screen? I am using Mozilla Firefox, is there any update I need to install?

The best way to watch these videos is by copy/pasting the link directly into your browser. You might want to pause the video and let it "buffer," i.e. Download a little of the video to your local temp files first. Then press play and you should have a smoother experience.
