Hello friends

I have been using Mac OS but recently I have upgraded my system to Lion 10.7.2. after upgrading my system my video encoding software Episode Pro v.6.2.1.1 is creating a problem. each time I try to submit the workflow, it gives me the following error: "Failed: Job Crashed Unknown Error"

The screenshot of the error is attached below:

I tried to fix the issue by renaming the workflow as "untitled" and it worked but unfortunately not always. I cannot get the sequence of when it works and when it doesn’t. I also changed the priority, but the same problem occurred. I cannot understand the rhythm of when it works and when it fails.

Has anyone else encountered this problem also? If yes, were you able to fix it up.

Please help me out if you can.

Your suggestions and ideas are most welcome

Regards

Grace

Hello Brian,

What you are describing above is a broad swatch, and it may be possible that the root cause of the problem is mainly with the configurations or it might be as well be as a result of something messing up with the episode generally. You will therefore need to do the following:

  • Turn off Time Machine, and then turn off the virus checkers which are scarcely used on Mac.
  • After that you should repair disk permissions,
  • And then reboot the machine.

Try to figure out if using the same file and the same settings after  it had failed succeeds when you try again without having to change anything.

Regards,

Carl
